Solution 1:- Rename the Fortnite Folder

In order to apply this solution, it’s highly recommended to thoroughly follow the steps provided below. 

Step 1

The first task that you have to perform is to proceed to the disk where you have installed the Fortnite game. For that, switch to the Local Disk C: Under here, you must have to proceed to the bottom and choose the Program Files option.  Within a couple of seconds, a new window will appear on the screen. Here, you must locate and tap on the Epic Games button. Furthermore, you should hit the Fortnite button. 

Step 2

After that, you need to rename the Fortnite folder. For example, you can rename the folder as FortniteX. Afterward, you must have to Start the Epic Launcher. Within a couple of seconds, the launcher will ask you to install the game. 

Step 3

Now, in case, you notice that the installation path is totally different from the default folder, then you must have to change the installation path to the Default path. 

Remember that, Fortnite game’s default path basically ended with the Fortnite word. 

Step 4

Once, you have successfully changed the installation path, you are advised to close the launcher. Also, within the default installation path, you will be able to see two folders namely Fortnite and FortniteX. In addition, you should remove the newly generated Fortnite folder. 

Furthermore, you must rename the folder from FortniteX to Fortnite. After that, see if Fortnite keeps reinstalling still occurs or not. 

Solution 2:- Uninstall the BattlEye

BattlEye is known as the hostile to cheat bundle that’s used within Fortnite, PUBG, and other games. However, sometimes because of BattleEye you will be unable to play the Fortnite game. In this situation, we suggest you uninstall BattlEye. 

For that, at first, you need to simultaneously press the Windows and E keys on the keyboard. Then, you must switch to the ‘C:/Program Files/Epic Games/Fortnite/FortniteGame/Binaries/Win64/BattlEye’ folder. Under this, locate and hit on the ‘Uninstall_battlEye.bat’ option. Wait for some time and let the task be completed. After completion of this, you must again load the Epic Games Launcher. 

From there, you need to choose the ‘ machine gear-piece’ option. On the top left corner of the screen, you will see this option. After that, hit on the Dispatch option. Then, from the drop-down menu, you must have to click on the Confirm option. Again wait for a few moments and let the check cycle complete. When finished, then you must reboot your console and see the status of the Fortnite keeps reinstalling error. 

Solution 3:- Reinstall Fortnite

If the above two solutions are unable to bring the required result for you, then you are advised to reinstall Fortnite. To do so, first, launch your Epic game launcher and then uninstall the Fortnite. 

After uninstalling Fortnite, you need to open the App Store from your device. Ensure that you use the same account that you had previously used in order to download Fortnite. Within the App Store, you should switch to the My Purchase Page. Type Fortnite on the Search bar and after that download and install it on your device.
